UNA-UK FCO Event

Recently, Members were privileged to attend a combined UNA-UK, FCO event where the Secretary General of the UN (Kofi Annan), the Foreign Secretary of the UK (Jack Straw) and UNA-UK President, (Lord Hannay) gave celebration to the first 60 years of the United Nations.

Sec. General Kofi Annant

Glasgow Homeless Partnership (Silent Knight Meal Vouchers to the homeless)

Members support the Meal Voucher programme using Silent Knight. £200 for 2006.

The idea is simple, we fund Meal Voucher tokens (emblazoned with the Silent Knight Logo) and hand the tokens back to the community. Instead of offering homeless people in Glasgow money, the tokens are passed to them. This enables them to go to the centres and redeem them against a hot cooked meal.

Fife Community Offroad Motorcycle Club (Support and Sponsorship)

Over 200 hours of Management and Consultancy to provide the initial Governance of this Project. Donations included Time and Materials for the creation/implementation of:

- Constitution and Byelaws
- Planning Applications
- Grant Applications
- Media and PR Coverage

Now a very acclaimed and successful Youth Diversification Project
